The Body-Solid GVLP Vertical Leg Press is a plate-loaded lower-body machine built around a back-lying pressing position that places the load above the hips while reducing stress on the shoulders and back.
With two starting heights, a 750 lb weight capacity, 1:1 resistance, and a compact 53-inch length, the GVLP delivers substantial leg-training capability without the footprint of many traditional leg press machines.
Use the GVLP for vertical leg press training targeting the quadriceps, glutes, hamstrings, and calves. Two starting heights and the available range of motion accommodate users up to 6 feet 6 inches.

When assembled, the GVLP measures 53" L × 62" W × 72" H.
Its vertical design uses less floor length than many traditional leg press machines, making it a practical option when training space is limited.
The GVLP is designed to work with both standard and Olympic weight plates, giving you flexibility to use either plate style with the machine.
The GVLP has a 750 lb weight capacity for progressive lower-body training.
The footplate carriage itself weighs 50 lb before additional weight is loaded.
The GVLP places you in a back-lying position with the load pressed vertically above the hips, rather than using the angled movement of a traditional leg press.
This position is designed to minimize stress on the shoulders and back while targeting the quads, calves, glutes, and hamstrings.
The GVLP ships by freight with curbside delivery. Because the leg press is a large, heavy shipment, delivery is handled differently from a standard parcel order.
After the shipment is transferred to the freight carrier, the carrier will use the phone number provided at checkout to contact you and coordinate delivery. Make sure the contact information on your order is accurate and that someone is available to receive the shipment.
When it arrives: inspect the shipment before signing for it. Check for visible damage, note any damage on the delivery paperwork when applicable, take photos when possible, and contact Gymbuild promptly if anything appears damaged or missing.
The GVLP is covered by the Body-Solid In-Home Lifetime Warranty and Body-Solid Light Commercial Warranty.
Coverage varies by component; the complete coverage details are shown in the Warranty & Returns tab.
